Project

This classic “Perfect Six” apartment building was designed by Hartford architect George Zunner and completed in 1911. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places in the Sigourney Square district. After suffering years of neglect and damage from a leaking roof, the back of the building collapsed. Our project involved a complete restoration of the façade and constructing a new building behind it, using brick salvaged from the collapsed portions. The new, smaller building, better suited to the modest lot, is a townhouse duplex.
