Located on a peninsula surrounded by two estuaries along the Long Island Sound, a vacant site that was disconnected from the surrounding urban neighborhood is now occupied by Crescent Crossings, a 177-unit housing development. Phase 1B is the next piece in the Crescent Community. Residents are within a quarter mile of a bus line, walking distance to the proposed Barnum Train Station, adjacent to Water View Park, one mile from the Metro North Station, and minutes from downtown shopping, restaurants, entertainment, and schools. The proximity of the development to direct access to New York City is ideal. This phase will provide 84 new pedestrian-friendly, transit-oriented housing units located in Bridgeport’s East End on the site of the former Father Panik Village.  Construction for this phase is expected to be completed in late Winter of 2018.
