Spectra 111, also known as the Neiditz Building, was the first modern office building in downtown Hartford since 1925. Built in 1950, the building’s exterior (limestone, polished granite, and red brick), as well as aluminum sash ribbon windows, terrazzo floors, pink Tennessee marble walls, and wave crested ceiling, will be fully restored with the aid of Federal and State Historic Rehabilitation Tax Credits. Residences are located above the street-level retail and restaurant space. A two-story gym with Zen garden and a movie theatre, as well as an internal connection to its twelve-story neighbor, 101 Pearl, are only few of many modern luxuries this restored historic building offers.
